GRAYLING, MI – The Mercy Physician Network is pleased to welcome Internal Medicine physician James Gee, MD to its Prudenville team. Dr. Gee will begin caring for adult patients in July.
Dr. Gee attended medical school at the Ross University School of Medicine and completed his residency at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Gee is a former Officer of the United States Army having served several years in the military's Medical Corps.
"As an internist, I am able to enjoy ongoing, long-term relationships and follow my patients over the course of years. I strive to take an approach where my patients and I function as a team to address health issues, recognizing that each patient is an individual with different backgrounds, preferences and beliefs," said Dr. Gee.
Having grown up in a small farming community, Dr. Gee is anxious to get back to his roots of small town living. Moving to northern Michigan with his wife and their five boys, Dr. Gee and his family are looking forward to becoming part of the community.
Dr. Gee will see adult patients Monday through Friday at the Mercy Community Health Center in Prudenville, 2585 W. Houghton Lake Drive. To schedule an appointment, please call (989) 366-2900.
