Family Practice Physician Joins Mercy Physician Network Grayling Zachariah DeYoung, MD, will begin seeing patients in July
GRAYLING, MI – Providing access to primary care services for the community is a top priority for the Mercy Physician Network and that's why the group is excited to welcome Zachariah DeYoung, MD to the team. Dr. DeYoung will begin seeing patients in July at the Milltown Clinic in Grayling.
A board certified family practice physician, Dr. DeYoung attended medical school at Michigan State University and completed his residency at the Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center at Fort Gordon, Georgia. Dr. DeYoung served four years as an active-duty Army Family Physician at Fort Gordon, GA that included a 12 month deployment to Afghanistan.
Hailing from a small town in lower Michigan, Dr. DeYoung is looking forward to settling down in a rural community with his family, which includes his wife, a family practice physician with the Mercy Physician Network in Roscommon, and their three children. "I want to practice in a small community so that I can better know the people under my care; better understand the environment in which my patients live, work and play; and be an effective force for progress in the community for which I serve," said Dr. DeYoung.
Dr. DeYoung will see patients Monday through Friday at the Milltown Clinic, 1200 North Down River Road, Grayling. To schedule an appointment, please call (989) 348-0550.
