Adult on-site
services include a wide-ranging outpatient program that offers housing, day
treatment, and an intensive evening program. Also available
is outpatient counseling for the individual, group, or family. This counseling
provides information on chemical dependency, intervention training, co-dependency,
and Adult Children of Alcoholics. Also available are:
Continuing outpatient groups (Aftercare)
Health professional recovery program
Assessments and referrals, private and those ordered by
a court or employer
Consultations
Educational and informational materials
Employee Assistance Program services
Gambling assessment and counseling
Services for
adolescents at Munson Medical Center include a treatment program, outpatient
counseling for both the individual and family, and aftercare. Also available are:
Off-site services for adolescents can be arranged through
the Traverse City Area Public Schools and other area schools. The services include
initiatives training for junior high school students, chemical dependency education
for high school seniors, and support groups for both junior high and high school
students.
Community programs offered on-site include educational presentations
and tours, plus Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, and Al-Anon. Munson
Medical Center provides an extensive Community Education Series, while other off-site
programs include workplace training, fall conferences, and Wellness Outreach booths.
