All Munson Medical Center patients, including outpatients and those seen in the Emergency Department, can have prescriptions filled before leaving the hospital.

- Pharmacists can access Munson lab reports to ensure medication safety
- Pharmacists can easily contact physicians to discuss medication coverage changes
For hospitalized patients:
- Nurses can help send prescriptions and prescription insurance card to the Outpatient Pharmacy for pick up before discharge, or
- Family or friends can take prescriptions to the Outpatient Pharmacy; prescriptions will be ready for pick up before leaving the hospital
