The Comprehensive Weight Management Program is designed for people who are:
Moderately to severely obese (BMI of 35 or greater), plus obesity-related co-morbidities
Willing to make a six- to seven-month commitment to the program
Enrolled with Priority Health insurance
This six-month, comprehensive weight-loss program emphasizes exercise, healthy food choices, and behavioral therapy to promote long-term weight loss and weight management. The program includes formal assessment and follow-up appointments with the Healthy Weight Center Team, including:
Four to eight visits with a Behavioral Health Specialist
Ten to sixteen visits with a Registered Dietitian
Seven individual sessions with a certified Exercise Specialist (30-minute sessions)
Ten to twelve supervised exercise sessions (75-minute sessions)
Six to eight weeks of group education and circuit training classes
Access to personalized online treatment center
Optional use of nutritionally complete meal-replacement supplements
Follow-up appointments with Healthy Weight Center Medical Director may be required; Appointments are billable to insurance with applicable co-pay
Priority Health insurance will cover a portion of this program for pre-authorized participants. Other insurance plans will be considered on an individual basis.
Priority Health Prior Authorization and Primary Care Provider referral is required. There is an out-of-pocket cost associated with this program.
Price will vary depending on your insurance co-pay:
Approximate $550 out-of-pocket cost
Balance is paid in 2-3 payments during six-month program
Payroll deduction available for Munson employees
Optional meal replacement supplements are additional depending on meal plan ($41 - $88 per week)
This four-month program is designed to include the basics of the Comprehensive Weight Management Program:
Orientation and registration are required to participate (fee to attend)
Three visits with a Registered Dietitian
Four individual sessions with a certified Exercise Specialist
Five group education classes
Optional use of nutritionally complete meal-replacement supplements
Follow-up appointments with the Healthy Weight Center Medical Director may be required at additional cost; Appointments are billable to insurance with applicable co-pay
Primary Care Provider referral is required. There is an out-of-pocket cost associated with this program and is not billable to insurance:
Out-of-pocket fee is $425, due at first individual appointment
Optional meal replacement supplements are additional depending on meal plan ($41 - $88 per week)
This four-month add-on component is available to participants who have completed the Comprehensive Weight Management or Working Off Weight programs. Individuals work with program staff to design a life-long plan that will continue to promote a healthy lifestyle. The program includes:
Two visits with a Registered Dietitian
Two individual sessions with a certified Exercise Specialist
Four supervised excercise sessions
Fee for the Maintenance Plan is $200, due at sign-up; payroll deduction is available for Munson Medical Center employees.

$21 for each group education class taught by our Registered Dietitian or Behavioral Health Specialist
Group Exercise Session (Circuit Training)
$12 for each one-hour session
Individual Exercise Session
$20 for each 30-minute session
Registered Dietitian Follow-up
$60 for each 30-minute visit
Supervised Group Exercise Sessions
$6 for each 75-minute session
