A Healthier Community for Generations to Come

The Mercy Hospital Cadillac Foundation was officially incorporated as a non-profit organization (501-c3) and public charity (509-a3) in 2005.  Its purpose is to set strategic initiatives that encompass the needs of Mercy Hospital Cadillac collectively, accomplished by:

• Conducting the philanthropic activities of the foundation to optimize fund raising, which in turn meets the needs of Mercy Hospital Cadillac in its delivery of community health care, and
• Responding to community health needs that are not fully funded by other sources, but yet are important to achieving the goals set by Mercy Hospital Cadillac.

The foundation is proud to collaborate with over 3,000 donors and friends who love the hospital and are passionate about its mission and values. It is through gifts to the foundation that equipment such as the Selenia T digital mammography machine and enhanced programming such as diabetic education can be provided in our community.

In 2010, the Mercy Hospital Cadillac Foundation will fund significant improvements to on-site visitor parking, designed to increase the number of parking spaces by 33% and enhance overall satisfaction and safety. Such improvements would not have been financially possible without the generous contribution of Mercy supporters – people like you who are willing to make large and small contributions alike because you know they will make a difference in the health of others.
