‘Boarding for Breast Cancer’Benefits Cancer Patients
The highly successful Subaru “Boarding for Breast Cancer” event at Crystal Mountain on Feb. 26 raised $12,000 for the Women’s Cancer Fund and the Navigator Program. The top money raiser was given a choice of a 2004-2005 snowboard or a pair of skis. Those who raised $500 or more received a free 2005-2006 Crystal Mountain ski pass and a free lift ticket. The popular day-long event included a slopestyle competition, raffles, manufacturer’s demos, and an evening party for participants.
